Directions are for a 1.5 pound breadmaker loaf. This tastes great with breakfast.
- 1 1/4 cups fresh milk, 110 degrees
- 2 TBL vegetable oil (I use canola)
- 2 TBL honey
- 1 tsp table salt
- 3 1/3 cups bread flour
- 1/2 cup wheat bran
- 1 pkg (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
Put ingredients in the breadmaker in the order specified. Set the timing to fresh milk basic bread. This takes 3 hours. Cool bread on a wire rack. Wait at least twenty minutes before eating or else it will turn out doughy.
breadmaker tips. I used skim milk and whole milk. Both work fine.
