The salad dressing is wonderful. We have had many compliments from it.
- 2 TBL soy sauce
- 2 TBL sesame oil, dark
- 2 TBL rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 TBL canola or vegetable oil
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 pound chicken breast
- 3 scallions, sliced
- 1 can water chestnuts
Mix salad dressing in a bowl.
Saute chicken breast. Let cool then cut into slices.
Mix salad dressing, lettuce, chicken, scallions, and water chestnuts in large bowl.
I use canola oil since it is tasteless and does not impart any flavor
into the dressing. I also use lite soy sauce so the taste is not dominated
If you can make the salad dressing a few hours beforehand it tastes much better.
