Balsamic Asparagus Recipe
A very easy and tasty way to enjoy fresh asparagus.
- 1 pound fresh asparagus
- 1 TBL extra virgin olive oil (evoo)
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- salt, black pepper to taste
Snap off woody ends of asparagus. Some people use a vegetable peeler
to skim off the surface. I do not.
Fill a large skillet with 1/2 inch water. Bring to simmer and place asparagus in water. Cook until bright green, about 3 minutes.
Drain water, return asparagus to pan, and coat with evoo. Add balsamic vinegar and coat asparagus.
