Pick When...

Look for plump and round, richly colored, and a thin, unbroken skin. The tomato should be firm to touch.

Ripen...

Tomatoes ripen after being harvested.

Store...

Store at room temperature upside-down; that is, the stem side down. This blocks air leaking and mold and bacteria from entering the stem area. They should keep about a week.
