Wild rice is a grain, not rice. I have served this many times and it has always gone over well.
Rinse wild rice.Combine rice and broth in baking dish. Cover and bake in oven at 325 degrees F for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
I have used 1/2 cup wild rice and 1/2 cup long-grain white rice successfully.Soaking overnight will reduce cooking time by a few minutes.
