Corn on the Cob
There seems to be an infinite number of ways to cook corn on the cob.
The sooner the corn is cooked after being picked the better because the
sugars turn into starches making the kernels tough.
Directions
Peel husks and remove tassels from corn. Put in water and boil for 4
1/2 minutes. Remove and serve.
Doug's Notes:
Do not overcook or the kernels will be tough. This was published in the
Peoria Journal Star (corn country).
